Hi, I’m Leslie,
a U.S.-based copywriter and content strategist who serves providers of online learning solutions.
For over two decades, I’ve been immersed in global talent and organizational development, shaping every aspect of the learner’s journey—from conducting needs analyses and designing impactful solutions to building systems and driving their adoption in multicultural environments. Along the way, I’ve honed the art of creating clear, compelling messaging that resonates with executive buyers, administrators, and end-users alike, ensuring innovative solutions gain traction.
I’m passionate about the democratization of learning through EdTech, which makes education more accessible, customizable, and impactful for learners everywhere. However, I also understand the challenges providers face in effectively communicating their value in a competitive market.
My mission is to empower EdTech pioneers who focus on L&D, professional development and adult learning by articulating their vision, connecting with their target audiences, and inspiring meaningful action. Through high-impact content, I help bridge the gap between innovation and adoption, ensuring your solutions reach—and resonate with—the people who need them most.

Payment Terms?
For new clients, I request a 50% deposit before I start working on your copy. Once your project is completed and you’re happy with your final draft, I issue an invoice with 14 days to pay.
For large scale projects, I can arrange staggered payments, which become due as I meet project milestones. I accept payment by bank transfer, PayPal or Stripe. There’s more information about payment terms on the copywriting terms and conditions page.
What is the turnaround time for projects?
In our first meeting, I ascertain if you have a deadline for the work. Provided it isn’t the eleventh hour, I will do my best to complete your content by that date. In cases where there is no deadline, I will provide you with an estimate of how long it will take and will keep you posted on the progress.
What if I’m not happy with my first draft?
It is my practice to revise the copy until you’re happy with your draft, within reason. I incorporate your feedback with each iteration and carry your suggestions and needs forward to future projects.
What industries do you write for?
I specialize in creating compelling content for industries focused on adult learning and professional development. My clients include agencies, universities, consultancies, EdTech providers, corporate training organizations, and businesses pioneering innovative approaches to workplace learning and development. I also collaborate with companies in related fields, such as HR technology, leadership development, career coaching, and online education platforms.
Can you help me understand what type of copy I need?
Absolutely! During our initial consultation, I’ll take the time to understand your business goals, target audience, and marketing objectives. Based on this information, I’ll recommend the type of copy that aligns best with your needs—whether it’s a blog post to boost organic traffic, a case study to showcase success stories, a white paper to establish thought leadership. If you’re unsure where to start, I can also provide a content strategy tailored to your goals.
How do you handle SEO?
I integrate SEO best practices into every piece of content I create. This includes conducting keyword research, optimizing headlines, meta descriptions, and on-page elements, and ensuring that your content is structured to appeal to both search engines and readers. I stay updated on the latest trends and algorithm changes to ensure your content remains effective in driving organic traffic. If you have an SEO team or specific guidelines, I’m happy to collaborate to ensure alignment.
How do you protect confidential information?
Confidentiality is a top priority in all my client relationships. I’m happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to ensure your proprietary information is protected. Any materials you share, such as internal documents or client data, will be handled with the utmost care and stored securely. I only use the information you provide for the specific purpose of creating content for your business and will never share it without your express consent.
Who owns the copyright to the work?
You do. Once the project has been completed and paid for in full, the copyright reverts to you.
Please note, I do ask as part of our terms of agreement, that I’m able to use abridged samples of completed assignments for my own marketing materials.
Can you take on projects at short notice?
Ideally, I need to schedule in new projects. However, if your copywriting needs are urgent, and I have capacity, I’ll try my best to accommodate you. No promises though.
