The challenge

The organization’s future requirements were changing more quickly than its existing leadership and talent systems could adapt. Development activities needed to be connected more clearly to emerging business priorities and future leadership needs.

The work

A comprehensive assessment examined organizational requirements, capability gaps, and the relationships among development, succession, and business planning. The findings were translated into an integrated talent-development architecture rather than a collection of stand-alone programs.

The contribution

The design created a clearer line of sight between future business needs and the systems used to identify, prepare, and develop talent. It provided a foundation for more coordinated leadership and succession decisions as the organization evolved.
