The challenge
After a long and accomplished military career, the client faced a question common to many senior professionals: how to translate extensive experience into a meaningful next chapter without simply reproducing the role being left behind.
The work
The engagement examined strengths, interests, constraints, preferred ways of working, and possible future directions. Career alternatives and educational pathways were explored alongside opportunities in leadership development, executive education, coaching, and performance-related work.
The contribution
The process created a practical framework for evaluating options and sequencing the transition. It allowed the client to consider a portfolio of future contributions rather than forcing an immediate choice of a single conventional second career.
